The historical Palace del Gallo is ten minute walk from the Duomo and the S. Croce Church. It is also in the proximity of the famous theatres La Pergola and Verdi.

A beautiful palace with frescoed ceilings and walls. The main suite,Cerere is the protector Goddess of Just married couples. The 1550 kitchen with its wide-low hooded sink and its volted ceilings, where breakfast is served, gives one the impression of experiencing the past.

The reception area, on the first floor, plunges into a sensation of antiquity and freshness that mark this ambience as an unusual private living quarter.

Recently restored this building has been a sleeping giant that has been newly awaken in all of its Grace. Beautiful frescos have been found in these abandoned walls brought to life with an entire school of restorers to allow our guests to taste and feel for themselves the beauty the centuries have left behind in this Palace.

The nine beautiful and spacious rooms, paved in original terra cotta tailings and painted frescos walls, are named after the planets in the solar system and consequently the roman gods: Mercury, Venus, Cerere identified with the Earth , Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto. The furnishings chosen have made every room unique in its atmosphere. Every bedroom has the highest standard and includes a king-size bed, air conditioning, soundproof walls, flat-screen TV, direct Internet access, a minibar and a personal safe.

Every bedroom opens onto a private and very quiet balcony, allowing for a truly relaxing moment from the exiting florentine streets.
