Description

Saracino Tower is a regal four-bedroom castle perched on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean, with views so magnificent that it has been featured in the latest James Bond movie, 'Quantum of Solace'. Originally built by the Spanish to protect against Saracen invasions, the castle has been beautifully renovated and transformed into a luxurious, private oasis with a distinctly Italian flair. Located only a two minute walk to the sea below, Talamonaccio is also the ideal house for travellers looking to enjoy an extraordinary seaside holiday.

Accommodation

GROUND FLOOR - The front door leads into a spacious dining room with fireplace. Adjacent are two double bedrooms, each with independent bathrooms; one with bathtub facilities and the other with a shower. Continuing along the corridor, to the left of the dining room, is a fully equipped modern kitchen. At the end of the corridor is a third bedroom with its own independent bathroom with shower and tub.

FIRST FLOOR - The main staircase leads to an enormous living room, equipped with air conditioning and fireplace, from which guests are treated to a fabulous 180-degree ocean view. The living room is furnished with comfortable lounge chairs, couches and an antique wooden table which can easily accommodate eight diners. Adjacent to the living room is a splendid terrace, perfect for both outdoor dining and sunbathing. On a clear day, the islands of the Tuscan archipelago are visible in the distance.

LOOKOUT TOWER - A small staircase leads from the ground floor to the lookout tower. The tower houses a double bedroom, complete with a small bathroom containing shower facilities and a walk-in wardrobe and living room area. From the second floor, a narrow spiral staircase leads to a spectacular terrace surrounded by the castle's turrets.

Services included

Included in the weekly rental charge are the services of one housekeeper for general cleaning duties four hours per day, Monday-Friday.

Upon request, she can prepare Italian breakfast each morning and provide meal service for either lunch or dinner.

Services not included

TUSCAN COOKING SCHOOL: Afternoon or evening cooking lessons with our professional Italian chef can be pre-booked at Talamonaccio Tower for up to 6 students.

LINENS: We are pleased to offer a midweek linen change.
