This beautifully restored historic estate is nestled in an enchanting grove of cypress, magnolia and weeping willow trees, lilied lakes and regal fountains. Hidden away in the hills of Lucchese but only ten minutes from the stone walls of Lucca, Borgo Peschiera is an ideal Tuscan retreat available for exclusive private rental. With luxe guest accommodation as well as a brigade of enthusiastic, professional staff at hand, it is an equally wonderful setting for special gatherings of friends and family as for business conferences and corporate incentive programs.
GROUND FLOOR - Fully equipped kitchen, formal dining room, drawing room with fireplace and satellite TV with dual capacity video, office with telephone, fax, internet access and computer facilities, central music system and security/surveillance system. Music room with piano and fireplace, card and billiard room, wine library with a private collection of Tuscan/Italian wines. Workout room with cardiovascular and weight equipment, sun lounge/reading room, four bathrooms, service area and laundry room, staff accommodations.
SECOND FLOOR - Twelve guestrooms (4 of which can either be king or twin-bedded rooms) each with superb en-suite bath and shower facilities (5 with Jacuzzis), individual temperature control (heating and air-conditioning), linked to central music system and equipped with telephone, hairdryer, bathrobes and pool towels.

LA CHIESINA - What was once the villa's stone chapel now houses three warm, sunny and luxurious en-suite bedrooms overlooking the swimming pool to one side and a courtyard filled with potted lemon trees to the other. The rooms are situated above the sun lounges and TV room.
MERCURIO - A bright and spacious queen-size room with two overstuffed armchairs and writing desk. Large en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and separate box shower.
MELOGRANO - A citrusy, cozy double room with doors opening out to a sweeping view of the surrounding Italianate gardens. En-suite bathroom.
MAGNOLIA - A warm-hued king or twin room with double doors leading out to a small, sunny terrace. En-suite bathroom.
FERRO-A-U - The oldest part of the property, once a wild-boar hunting lodge, with walls dating back to the year 1000 AD and formerly home to the villa's olive press. Here are five central, well-appointed bedrooms in a horseshoe arrangement, all with original beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and overlooking a charming little piazza. The rooms are situated above the music room, card and billiard room and wine library.
VENERE - A spacious and cool wedgewood blue queen bedded room encircled with windows and comprising lounge area with sofa and chair, writing desk and a beautifully frescoed en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath.
TRIFOGLIO - This king or twin room, decorated in rich golds and reds, has doors which open out to an airy view of the courtyard area filled with potted lemon trees. En-suite bathroom.
CAMELIA - A lovely, olive-green queen room with a splendidly frescoed en-suite bathroom.
CIPRESSO - A vibrant, red and green queen room with frescoed en-suite bathroom.
BACCO - A regal, peach and gold queen room with sofa, writing desk and views across the 17th century fountains towards Lucca. En-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi.
PESCHIERA - Four delightful and elegant guestrooms integrated around the original 17th century fountains, overlooking the carefully cultivated gardens and situated above the dining room and the drawing room.
DIANA - A spacious, restful emerald-green king or twin room with writing desk and armchairs. Sunny en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi and wrought gold fixtures.
GIGLIO - A lively red and gold queen room with beautifully frescoed en-suite bathroom.
NINFEA - A tranquil, deep-blue king or twin room with trellised frescoes and en-suite bathroom.
APOLLO - A queen size room of midnight-blue and gold, with sofa and writing desk. Bright en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi.
Services included
Included in the weekly rental charge is a team of three housekeepers who, along with general housekeeping duties, will cater the continental/buffet breakfast each morning and provide meal service for either lunch or dinner.
A chef is also available for either lunch or dinner each day (6 days per week).
A skilled gardener looks after the grounds and the swimming pool.
