Cheese tasting in Tuscany

The owner will escort you to an interesting visit to his workshop and the ageing cellars to make you find out the pecorino making techniques. But first of all you will enjoy a full introduction to one of the most appreciated Italian cheeses: how it was born, why, where, and the development of the landscapes around Pienza throughout the centuries. Our selected diary is located in the south of Tuscany, in the Orcia Valley near Pienza. After having visited the workshop you will start tasting all the different available selections of this wonderful home-made sheep cheese, fruit of the last craftsman of the area's hard work and passion.
Cheeses will be combined with local wines, fresh fruits, honey and a bruschettas made with a 5***** home made extra vergin olive oil.
